A glamping Country Lodge Tent by the sea
The holiday experience that combines a love of nature with comfort and style, our Country Lodge Tents are built entirely of wood in harmony with the surrounding nature, with comfortable spaces to spend your beach holiday at the campsite. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one double and one triple. The living area has a large kitchen area with an equipped kitchenette and a spacious, furnished outdoor veranda.
For really delicious lunches and dinners we recommend our renowned restaurant il Mama, typical Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine, varied and rich in local specialities. Takeaway and delivery service available at your accommodation.
The beautiful beach with direct access
A short walk will take you to our private beach. A beach that is partly free and partly equipped, with fine golden sand, a crystal, clean and safe sea, with gently sloping seabed. There is a lifeguard service, an entertainment service and for sports enthusiasts there is a beach volleyball court and at the South Wind School you can rent windsurfing, surfing or sup boards.
If you have never tried it before you can take private lessons and with a few useful tips you can start to have fun surfing safely under the supervision of our instructors.
Nature excursions in the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve
Between the municipalities of Castiglione della Pescaia and Grosseto lies the splendid Diaccia Botrona wetland. An area of international importance for its specific features and biodiversity, a true paradise for water birds. Flamingos, wild geese, ospreys, herons, little terns and avocets, mallards, teal and many other birds have been wintering or nesting here for several years, a true paradise for birdwatchers.
At the centre of the reserve is Casa Ximes, which today houses the Multimedia Museum that tells the history of this place. It is also possible to visit the reserve and book guided tours to discover this fascinating place.
